The Community Signing Event for the Endowment Book of Life is Tues., Feb. 4, 2014 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 3800 E. River Rd. in Tucson.

The event is hosted by the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona (JCF) and co-chaired by Danny Gasch and Angie Goorman.

A light buffet supper will be served and there is no charge, but RSVP’s are requested and can be made by calling (520) 577-0388 or emailing promise@jcftucson.org.

“JCF empowers each of us to invest in a stronger Jewish and global community through legacy planning, thus ensuring that we realize our philanthropic passions during and after our lifetimes,” said Tracy Salkowitz, JCF’s Chief Executive Officer. “This event is an acknowledgement and celebration of our collective caring now and in the future.”

Tucson’s Endowment Book of Life, now in its 23rd year, is a living document that chronicles the names and family histories that form the tapestry of Tucson’s Jewish community. More than 600 people from all backgrounds already have signed the Book, making a personal promise to leave something for future generations.
